Repairs, Re-using & Resizing

We encourage people to repair and re-use jewellery as much as possible. If you have something special that is damaged, broken or not being worn anymore please get in touch.

Bethany would love to discuss mending or melting it down and making into something new.

She is able to work on most precious metals. Lead time for repairs is 2 - 4 weeks.

Bronze Pixie, was broken and dull. We re-made the jump ring, touched up the detail and polished.
Chain Bracelet links were broken. We soldered them back together and polished it.
The back of this Heirloom Gold signet hard worn thin and broken. We re-built the back to last another life-time and polished it.

These were melted down to create a beautiful new ring to celebrate birth of client's first son.

Prices

  • *Please note that rings with a broken shank that need re-soldering can be a larger project than they look. When fixing a snapped ring the whole ring needs to be heated and this means that usually a stone will need to be taken out and re-set or it may crack when heated.
