Family Silversmithing - make a silver name or stamped necklace
When: 3-5pm

This workshop is suitable for anyone from the age of 10+ and is a really fun things to do as a family.

What you will cover:

• Using the piercing saw

• Designing

• Stamping - letters/numbers/floral/nature/horoscope options

• Making jump rings

• Soldering

• Filing

• Polishing
  
  Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult on a ticket as there are potentially dangerous tools, chemicals and fire involved in the workshop but it designed to be safe and accessible.

Make a silver ring
When: 6-8:30pm

This workshop covering how to make rings and is suitable for beginners to silversmithing who are over 18.

What you will cover:

• Calculating ring size

• Using the piercing saw

• Texturing / stamping

• Soldering

• Shaping

• Filing

• Polishing
  
  Ring making is a great introduction to the craft of silversmithing as you use all of the basic workshop equipment. This fun and informative workshop will ensure that you come away with a sterling silver ring you’re happy with.
